Not to be tooting my horn too much but dinner was absolutely delicious last night. One of my finer meals. Fear me and my bad-ass cooking ways. From the steamed artichokes and aioli all the way to the quiche with sausage and cremini mushrooms and tons of cheese. It was a bonafide hit. We are going out to dinner with a couple of friends tonight and going to a place that is somewhat new so the menu will be interesting as I hear they are still working it out. Tomorrow though? Roast beef and yorkshire pudding. It will be sexy. I may even make pineapple upside down cake. (no jokes)

Now to think thoughts of grocery shopping.

I am having this faint craving for haggis. Make what you will of that.

In the space of a few moments it went from partly cloudy to pouring down in sheets. There was a sudden loud roar and I looked outside and it was coming down like you wouldn't believe. It has calmed a bit but it is still raining. I think we have our January lined up for us: Cinnamon toast and lazing by the fire while reading books is the important task.
But first? lunch.
