More details of the holiday taken care of. I have had a lot of cough drops today. I feel like Cleve Bard at this point. I saw The Village today. Fascinating stuff. I can see why some people may not have cared for it so much and of course since I read so many murder mysteries now I am immediately paying attention to a bunch of small clues trying to figure it out ahead of time. I think my favorite part was a spooky scene in the movie causing me to leap into Mr. Jenner's lap. I warned him I might rest my feet on his legs because otherwise the scary dark things that live in the woods might come and grab my feet from underneath my seat.
Good times.

My throat is beginning to feel a little better. Hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight.
Tomorrow I may bake an Angel food cake.

I also have some reviews to write (restaurants, books, music, whores) and what not.

Today when we were looking at the online registry of some friends who are getting married I noticed something that amused me so much. Since it is a company in England when you type in the information for name and they ask for title (Mr. Mrs. Miss etc..) there are a million options.
Baron, Viscount, Duke, Lord, even HRH. I almost dared Mr. Jenner to put HRH to be funny.
It makes a person want to purchase all sorts of things from places in England just to be silly and put something like Baroness Gibson or Viscount Jenner just to have a tiny little laugh.

Tonight I beat Mr. Jenner at two games of rummikub. I practiced for many months before I went to visit his family the first time. He told me they liked to play and said things could get spirited. I became pretty good and even won a game or two. If Rummikub was something that could be played on a professional circuit like poker or pool; I would the the Minnesota Fats of the game. I have perfected the art of figuring out where some of the tiles are and holding back tiles until I can lay my wrath on the other players.
Yes I know...this is like being a bad-ass at Candyland.
I take my glory where I can get it.

I don't know or remember why, but that game, with that exact box cover, reminds me of my grandmother. Creepily.

Shotput is after your great great grandfather Sir Shotput Anvil Smythe Lightfoot. He was known for his close relationship with Disraeli and his natural talent for winning at lawn-bowling.

Your Mother didn't want to add Shotput but your Father was insistant. Partly because your Great Grandmother was still alive and had fond memories of him.
