chatty

Recently a friend brought up the entertaining question of "who is your skeavy crush?" You know the sort of celebrity that despite all of your common sense still makes you hot in the loins and a little nervous. The sort of person who shouldn't be hot to you. I was reminded of this when I was watching a video with Robbie Williams on Youtube. (shutupy'all. don't judge me) He is a regular hot mess (currently in rehab, so extra hot) and yet.... yeah. ahem. Me and Mr. Jenner's Auntie Barbara are keen fans.
So I ask you, what are your dirty/skanky crushes? Do they wear a bit too much pleather or spandex? Would you avoid introducing them to your friends if you knew this person? Bonus points if they look like they might have had an STD or some kind of weird rash.

I made quiche today. It made my husband's day. I also made oatmeal cookies because I am nice like that.

Robbie'd be near top. But so would Colin Farrell. But either'd have to quit smoking first. Probably.

Oh totally. He even has the advantage of looking as if he hasn't taken a bath in awhile. Hawt!

I don't have any skanky crushes now. But when I was 7 and I first saw the movie "The Labrynth" I found something slightly erotic about David Bowie in that movie and had a secret liking to him... still do sometimes...

As far as I'm concerned, David Bowie is 100% legitimate crush material. David Essex, on the other hand, oh dear. What can I do?

My other crush confessions are people I know in real life rather than celebs, I'm afraid. Oh, and I do share the general interest in Antony Bourdain that floats around this LJ.

He is SO NOT skeevy!

Skeevy = Axl Rose doin' ya against the drum kit backstage with his baseball hat on backwards while you secretly pray you don't get crabs.

Extra skeeve points for you if it isn't 1989 in your head in this fantasy and you aren't receiving financial compensation and/or legal protection from Rose following the incident.

Oh gosh, I'll totally agree and go with Colin Farrell!

FYI

I LOL'd several times reading the Onion piece. Thanks for the giggle.

I'm sure I have one... or have had one in the past. Maybe. I don't usually go for skeevy.

the character isn't skeevy really, but that character is still a guy you would be a bit embarassed to introduce to people. "why yes... he always wears those capes and spandex..."

Oh Robbie is definitely hot in that 'steal your wallet' kind way. rawr!

I must have been waiting for you to ask because the minute I read "skeavy crush" I thought instantly of my weird crush on Billy Bob Thornton. Is he not the ultimate skeevy crush or what! I should get extra points for secretly wanting him to wear MY blood around his neck too.

Also see icon, Mark Ruffalo was ultra-skanky in that movie and I LOVED every minute of it!

you know that riff would be insanely awesome.

I'm with you on the skeevy crush on Robbie. I still remember watching his episode of 'Cribs'...and when he humped his bed I had to excuse myself from the room.

But then there's my crush on Method Man that can't really be explained. Except for the fact that his voice is as fine as his face;).

And you know Sir Paul would be left in the dark.

Hee. Totally.

Definitely Colin Farrell. He was on an episode of Scrubs we watched recently, and I was like, "yum!", and then I realized who he was, and went, "uh ... yes ... STILL HOT."

I have an insane cruch on a fictional skeazy person--Jayne from Firefly.
Big, dumb, sweaty, amoral mercenaries whose idea of heaven is a whorehouse? oh yeah.

Oooh now there is an interesting edge. "Not only is he hot, he steals."

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2007-03-08 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
Have you seen both versions of Cribs? (He did one for England and one in LA) Hilarious stuff. And both involve the humping of a bed.

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2007-03-08 06:30 am (UTC)(link)
hot!

[identity profile] rockrgirl8.livejournal.com 2007-03-10 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)
when i saw dangerous liaisons i found john malkovich quite hot. there is something damn attractive about that man. i also have this thing for sam elliott. i think it's mostly his voice. i'm into voices. voices can make me weak in the knees.
