I am sooooooooo brilliant. A pacifier disables me.

I slept kind of funny and woke up a bit stiff. Then I carried around a baby -which made things a little more painful.
But what really did it was the little monster dropping his pacifier. He dropped it underneath the bed so I bent down to feel around to grab it.
Oh what a mistake. I felt as if my neck and shoulders exploded. I attempted to get up and that hurt. A lot. I got up though. Because I had to.
Oh dah pain... it was bad.
I put Alex down in his co-sleeper and stood underneath a very very hot shower which helped a bit. But still I felt like being sick all over myself it hurt that bad.
So I remembered, "ah yes I have some leftover percocet."
When I gave birth to Senor Onion they gave me a bottle of the stuff to aid in the recovery of giving birth. I took one as I was coming off of the epidural and that was it so I have this nice healthy supply to keep around for occasions such as this. (and lovely parting gifts if you happen to visit me and mention you are in pain, I like to be a good hostess)
I took one (about what is safe when you are nursing) and it helped me get through the day. I was able to finish tidying up, take care of Alex and even bake some muffins.
Mr. Jenner's parents should be arriving fairly soon.

Now to entertain Alex with a few rounds of peek-a-boo. Apparently this is the height of comedy.

Don't do that again. Take off baby before bending down.

Valium is a good relaxant, too.

Alas no valium in the house. I am soothing myself with pills and baked goods.
