This is bullshit where is Tico Torres

We woke up this morning and Mr. Jenner found the toilet in the master bath was not working quite right. Then we found a significant lack of water pressure in the kitchen sinks. Oh glorious day. What fun what fun. I was going to wash my hair this morning. Plans have been changed. I am going to have to rock my dirty hair awhile longer. (the dried spit-up adds a touch of glamour)
I called up the Water company and it seems a water main broke. Most unpleasant but at least they are attending to it. Things aren't going well for the water company. Last week another main broke and there was a fair amount of flooding downtown.

I think all I can do today is watch Cary Grant movies and eat biscuits. There will also be several games of peek-a-boo and conversations about how Mummy doesn't want her lips pulled off.

I started reading Bay of Noon by Shirley Hazzard. I love how she writes. Her descriptions are sometimes quite simple but there is such a lush undertone to them that makes it seem more like a painting.

Awww...I want to come over and watch Cary Grant and eat biscuits! I'd even occupy the junior Mr. Jenner whilst you washed your hair. Why do you have to live so damned far away?

The real question is are you having British biscuits (aka cookies) or American biscuits (dripping with jam and butter, all melted a gooey, mixed in with fluffy goodness)?

I saw it on the news this morning. My husband was impressed that Channel 5 could spend so much time talking about it as "breaking news." Then he said it was like living in a small community when a cow gets loose in the streets. Anyway, you had to be there. I lol'd.

Biscuits biscuits biscuits!

That sucks about the water pressure. Laaaaaaame, Henry.

Thankfully the hair got washed. Now to work on the biscuit eating.
I live so far because I like mountains and truffle mint milkshakes. Sad but true.
Though Boston is probably the only other city I have been to that I could handle living in if I had to. (though I haven't experienced the winters so I might change my mind)

I am having cadbury chocolate biscuits. That is right baby. Cadbury. Biscuit. Awesome!

You envy me and my cadbury biscuits! Want some biscuits baby?
The water pressure is back. My hair is washed. Things are good.

Oh man a cow on main street would be awesome. But your husband is right. "ohmygawd water water water."
Though it is significant since a water main broke last week and the sewers are over-whelmed these days.

In my new issue of Saveur there is a recipe for Eight-Layer Chocolate-Peanut Butter cake, and I immediately thought of you. :-)

That sounds like fun, though I live with someone who doesn't understand the love of peanut butter -especially with chocolate, Weird, I know.
