On a lighter note
Damn I folded a lot of laundry today. But there is still laundry to do. The laundry breeds I think. Need to do something about that. Maybe show a filmstrip about how socks are made. A mommy sock and a daddy sock love each other very much...
It wasn't all laundry all the time but there was a lot of it. There was also a tricycle ride, plenty of jigsaw puzzles and baking. Fun Friday.
It was also like Christmas. There were packages galore on the porch. Electronic bits for Mr. Jenner, shoes for me and books for everyone. Yeah. Books. Live here and books will come to you. At some point I will even get to look at my book in greater detail. Sometime tomorrow hopefully. People keep interrupting me or climbing into my lap. It takes me a couple of days to read a New Yorker article because people try and take it from me and chew on it or they need someone to help them get more paint. I can say that Justice Stevens is one cool cat.
I think I may go and soak in a very hot bath and read a good book. But first? ice cream. Yes ice cream. This is some damn delicious ice cream.
