oh the futility

God bless cusackam for sending me a big box of tastykakes. I needed it today. It was a day where I felt off and I didn't feel coordinated nor cheerful. On a slightly exciting note today the fire alarm went off so everyone in the building had to evacuate. It was a nice short break from work.
I didn't sleep well last night because I kept waking up from dreams where I had slept through my alarm so I arrived at work rather incoherent.

No alarm clock tomorrow. For now it is tastykakes, tea and quiet.

organizing my thoughts

Sure you can budget for a wedding but then there are eight million details. It is a real bitch and a half. It makes one break out in a rash. I am all too aware of the numbers. stress, stress, stress

On a hippity-hoppity note Jasper Fforde will be in Seattle July 25th at the University Bookstore to read from his brand-spanking new book. I do believe there will be a field-trip involved along with fan-girl gushing. Yes I will get his autograph again. Because I am a dork like that.

I am trying out the proto-type soap my Mother made. Sometimes a bit squishy but apparently it will become more firm over time. I like how it left my skin feeling smooth. Many soaps will make the skin feel tight afterward and I hate that. I itch a lot then. I also like the lotion bar more and more. It leaves the skin feeling so nice and warm.
