chicken

Tonight I don't know what I am making. So far I have made an onion and butter risotto. At the moment I have some chicken marinating in olive oil, spanish balsamic vinegar, chopped tomatoes, salt, and freshly squeeze lime juice. I am not exactly sure will come of this but I have this loose notion of sauteing the chicken, maybe adding more lime juice and possibly roasting some bell pepper and serving that with the dinner.
Nothing is concrete at the moment but I will post later on when I figure out what will happen.

I felt much better about humanity after having some cheese flavored chips and some orange juice. And some chocolate too. But that is given.
Maybe not that much better but a little less murderous.
Some of that cheerful feeling was shot after hearing more about the abuse of prisoners in Iraq. I am not entirely surprised but the whole situation is truly shameful. I admit one of the more embarrassing aspects of those photographs is the fact that there are women soldiers participating in the torture and abuse.
One shouldn't generalize but there is this feeling one has that a woman would know better then to do that. If that was the case we wouldn't have female serial killers, The Blood Countess or countless other awful women in history.
I wish I could apologize to each and every person in Iraq for the U.S. foreign policy, the treatment of people in Iraq and for well...everything.
I suppose for those horrible people it was easy to torture the people like that by not thinking of them as human.

...

Now let's look at soothing pictures and think happy thoughts of cocktails and bunny rabbits.
