Oh goody

If horses sweat, gentlemen perspire and ladies glow, then I was glowing so much today I may have to redefine myself as a flashlight.
The upside to the intense heat is the miracle of many customers staying rather civil. The heat tends to bring out the asshole in most sorts.
It was a lucky day.
After a very busy day at work where the air-conditioning seemed non-existent upstairs I treated myself to some riso gelato. It took away all of the tense feelings one collects by the end of the day. *sighs with joy*

Speaking of the post, did you ever send anything in this direction? Not to sound, "gimme gimme!" of course, but I recall you commenting about it a couple times and, as I hadn't received anything yet, I just wanted to check and see if you'd ever sent anything.

Anyway, we'll have a new address on the 27th, so I'll have to get that to everyone soon.

Our neighbors across the street from the new house have a pool. Time to make friends with them.

OOOOOhhhhhhhh! Goodies on the way! You ROCK!

Sorry about the heat...it was like that about a week ago here. Now it's raining and in the 60s! I love it! So many visitors complain about how chilly it is here in the winter, and windy, and rainy, but it's perfect for me! I really must live somewhere in the Northern latitudes when I get back to the States... Michigan? Maine? Washington state? Or maybe if we head back to Berkeley, I'll finally get up the gumption and the funds to live in San Francisco and commute to school. It's always at least 5 degrees cooler in SFO than in Berkeley.
