chatty

Recently a friend brought up the entertaining question of "who is your skeavy crush?" You know the sort of celebrity that despite all of your common sense still makes you hot in the loins and a little nervous. The sort of person who shouldn't be hot to you. I was reminded of this when I was watching a video with Robbie Williams on Youtube. (shutupy'all. don't judge me) He is a regular hot mess (currently in rehab, so extra hot) and yet.... yeah. ahem. Me and Mr. Jenner's Auntie Barbara are keen fans.
So I ask you, what are your dirty/skanky crushes? Do they wear a bit too much pleather or spandex? Would you avoid introducing them to your friends if you knew this person? Bonus points if they look like they might have had an STD or some kind of weird rash.

I made quiche today. It made my husband's day. I also made oatmeal cookies because I am nice like that.

Sometimes a person needs a proper giggle

I don't have any skanky crushes now. But when I was 7 and I first saw the movie "The Labrynth" I found something slightly erotic about David Bowie in that movie and had a secret liking to him... still do sometimes...

As far as I'm concerned, David Bowie is 100% legitimate crush material. David Essex, on the other hand, oh dear. What can I do?

My other crush confessions are people I know in real life rather than celebs, I'm afraid. Oh, and I do share the general interest in Antony Bourdain that floats around this LJ.

David Bowie

the character isn't skeevy really, but that character is still a guy you would be a bit embarassed to introduce to people. "why yes... he always wears those capes and spandex..."
