Last night I made a bastardized form of paella. It lacked mussels. But then I tend to avoid eating mussels when it is Summer. I also used LinguiƧa sausage (portuguese sausage) instead of chorizo. Since I was born a bastard (interesting people in history usually have questionable origins) I should call this dish; Iberian Bastard stew. It was delicious.
My sister
lightprincess89 is coming over this weekend. She is mentally coming down after finals. (she did rather well by the way so offer your congrats) So she is coming here to shop, read, play with her nephew and maybe do some cooking with me. Entertaining all around. Also she is going to watch Senor Onion for a few hours so Mr. Jenner and I can go out and be grown-ups. Whatever that means.

My strawberries. Why yes I do need to weed. Why do you ask? though I find that keeping the weeds about offers some protection from the birds.

I like the fact that you're using the auxiliary plants (aka weeds) as your bird defense. They aren't really weeds if they're useful, now are they?
