Amuse yourself during dinner

Pictures from our Holiday and the wedding we attended. Yes there are pictures of Miss Gennie and her pink purse all over London.

In some of the pictures Mr. Jenner and I only offer the excuse that Rowley Birkin C.Q. offers, "I'm afraid I was very very drunk."

I figure I ought to be quick to find.

Oh my. Robert Rodriguez is rather attractive. Nice photos, especially that one!

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-30 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
Isn't he? It was almost a little alarming. Especially after looking at Michael Madsen and Mickey Rourke. Robert Rodriguez has some of the prettiest eyes I have ever seen.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love checking out other people's albums. Also, I love the traveling wardrobe(your mixing and matching is awesome).

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-30 06:30 am (UTC)(link)
The traveling wardrobe near the end was a bit of desperation because I was running out of clean clothes.

We like to share useless pictures of our travels. Plus we have the obligation of showing Gennie and her pink purse everywhere.

Very nice...it all looks so....bracing.

Did Betty II invite you up for tea? Or was she too busy waxing Phil's back again?

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-30 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
It is very bracing. Especially with jet-lag.

She was busy with her tupperware and her billy big bass fish.

God I love England! I love what you wore to wedding, beautiful! And plenty of cleavage! Yay!

And who knew that Robert Rodriguez was so sexy!? Hello sexy director man!

All my comments will be followed by at least one exclamation point...if not more!!

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-30 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
Yes I think Mr. Jenner was responsible for the cleavage pictures. There is one in particular (that isn't in that album) that was rather....over the top.

Isn't he the cutest?

[identity profile] jessiesquash.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
If you've got it flaunt it, that's my motto! It seems that Mr. Jenner is a wise man in that way.

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Mr. Jenner is a dangerous man.

[identity profile] the-sybil.livejournal.com 2005-05-30 01:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh my, those photos made me homesick.

Come visit Berrypark!

I didn't know one could cut a bunny's nails. I always take mine to the vet's. Is there a special bunny-nail-clipper you have to use?

Love all the pics, too!

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-30 02:42 pm (UTC)(link)
It is a slightly ticklish task since most rabbits don't enjoy it. Greg was rather well-behaved about it even if he did look extremely upset in that picture. In a fit of desperation I used regular nail clippers (and then washed themm afterward) but there are special bunny-nail-clippers you can purchase at a number of pet stores. They look like dog nail-clippers.

Thank you, Mr. Jenner is quite the shutterbug. (If I didn't know any better I would think he was Japanese)

I love the "You have been warned" sign. It reminds me of my favorite sign from NYC: "If you aren't responsible enough to clean up after your pet, you don't deserve to own one."

The pictures are beautiful! I love all of the ones of the cliffs and ocean, and the ones of you and your pink purse, too. I miss the ocean. We don't see much of it here in Arizona.

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-30 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
The English are so pragmatic with their signs. "Please don't do this. You have been warned." I think then the assumption is that you will make your own choices.

It is truly beautiful scenery in North Devon. Everything is technicolor.

Some sweet pic-age there.

We take pictures with abandon on holiday.

[identity profile] thiscantbesoy.livejournal.com 2005-05-30 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
YOu actually got the labels wrong. That picture of me at the party with the pink pony is the Wreck of the Johanna.

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-30 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
*snorts* Did people also steal washing machines from you when you were found on the beach?

[identity profile] cogshiftingman.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Great photos. The ones near the beach and the rocky coves are getting me excited about July. It looks like it is very quiet (i.e. few people) there.

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 03:52 pm (UTC)(link)
It isn't like Venice beach I can say that. There will be a few people in the Summer but everyone tends to respect the space of others and you don't need to ask someone to keep an eye on your towel. It is just done.
You might see a few surfers. It is more like a private beach.

[identity profile] cogshiftingman.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 04:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Wonderful! Sounds brilliant. I wonder if it will rain? Probably ... but NO PROBLEM :-)

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 04:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Hopefully it will be really lovely but remember you are English you don't let the rain stop you from going to the beach. (or maybe that is just Andrew's family)

[identity profile] cogshiftingman.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Does his family have those windbreaker things? A length of colourful canvas stretched between three poles, which you bang into the sand. Then you sit behind it, out of the wind.

Sounds very silly but they "work really, really well"! (Linda Barker)

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 05:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't think so. I don't know really.
One day Andrew, Andrew's friend from university (Julian is his name) and Julian's girlfriend Sharon and of course me went to the beach. The waves are very dangerous and the boys were scaredy cats and decided not to brave the big scary waves which can kill you. So Sharon and I did. Damn it was fun but also a little scary because you would try and stand firm against the waves and the force of the water would move you like you were nothing.
I ended up cutting my foot on a sharp rock but I had fun anyways.

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes there are some. One is quite deep if I remember correctly.

[identity profile] reenigne.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Lots and lots of rock pools and rocks that are good for clambering over. There is one (Fisherman's rock pool) which is so deep you can't see the bottom. When we were children we went swimming in there and still couldn't find the bottom.

[identity profile] cogshiftingman.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
This is good news indeed. I love rock pools and I think Isabella will too.

[identity profile] reenigne.livejournal.com 2005-06-02 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Plenty of good sea anemonies to poke too. Some of the rockpools even have little fish if you're patient!

[identity profile] reenigne.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I think they may have a windbreak somewhere. Wow, I haven't used one of those for years.

[identity profile] cogshiftingman.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
We used them a lot in Yorkshire. I may have a pic somewhere of us huddled on the leeward side on the beach at Saltburn!

[identity profile] gfrancie.livejournal.com 2005-05-31 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Brings back memories.

You and your pink purse look LOVELY!!!!!
