as we fan ourselves.

What did I do today? I mailed things. I mailed a million things at the post office. They know my name now. I purchased more stamps, because you can never have too many stamps. I then took care of some email I had been putting off. I made phone calls I had been putting off. I am even doing laundry. What else should I do?

I might put the rabbits in the basement because it is nice and cool down there. They seem to be handling the heat well but it might be more pleasant for them.

I do not look forward to cooking dinner. I may wait until very late to cook.

Seems you had a productive day. What did you mail off? Just invitations or something else??

invitations, checks, this, that, the other.

What's wrong? Don't you have A/C?

We do. But still it only does so much. Plus we are cheap bastards and avoid putting it on.

And there are so many nice varieties of stamps!

Heat waves suck. It's nice and cool here again after clam bake '05 last week.

I dislike cooking on hot days. I just want to sit in the shade and eat fruit.

That seems like a reasonable way to spend your time.

Our bunny is just lying on her side all day on the balcony. It's so sad. I keep checking to see if she is cooked yet. Maybe I should bring her down to the garage under the building? But it's so DARK in there.

I found that putting bottles filled with ice helped them a bit. Plus I kept them near an a/c vent. They stayed pretty cool after that.
