Afternoon

It was a lovely afternoon spent in the company of two people who didn't bicker much. We ate our weight in pho and cream puffs, looked at t-shirts, vintage clothes, sunglasses (which they both acquired) and records and CDs. We also acquired many delicious things for dessert.
Now we are home, we have had some tea and then I took pictures of Kit and Mike with their new posh glasses.






It is so hard being fabulous.

The Gibson girls are all quite lovely.

And I can certainly see the familial resemblance in the smile on her brother, in that 3rd photo. Even the position of the hand, slight tilt of the head... I do believe I've seen Miss Gennie strike a similar pose on occasion.

We do look quite a bit alike. She has a different nose and light-colored hair. But other than that we have a very similar face shape.

The best part? It is super simple to make. It is one of my new favorite things to make. Hardly takes any time to put together and it looks pretty and add a bit of whipped cream if you like and voila...dessert.
