Morning News

Last night I made Bacon-wrapped Pork Tenderloin Medallions which were surprisingly good. Cook's Illustrated has a knack for not wowing me but they redeemed themselves with this. I even made the apple cider sauce to go with it. It wasn't too sweet and worked beautifully with the pork.
I am making this for Christmas Eve dinner. (If you end up being invited you won't be disappointed)

I bought a new red top. It looks pretty darn good on me. Yay for cheap retail therapy. Just think of the fantastic food stains I can get on it with the assistance of Senor Onion.

Senor Onion has mastered the art of waving. An under-rated talent. He will go far. Now to teach him to make a martini the way Mr. Woolcott likes.

if he can wave, you might put him to work shaking the batter onto things, shaking up martinis, hmm.. I could go on but you get the point. I think he's ready to put to work! :D

Good idea. I have a sous-chef now.

What is surprising about the deliciousness of bacon-wrapped pork? Pork in more pork? Hallelujah! ;) Glad it turned out tasty!

It was surprising because the recipes usually put out by Cook's Illustrated aren't super-terrific. But the way this was put together was pretty tasty.

Sure, Mr. Woolcott has always liked those martinis, but how do you think Mr. Babcock will feel about all of this? You better be careful...

We will just keep Mr. Babcock in the dark about this.
