The trouble is, when you meet Other Moms it tends to be in a sort of situation where being a Mom is the first thing you notice. At school at some playground or whatever. When all you have to go on is mutual momhood it doesn't make for very interesting conversation, even though they might actually BE one of those fabulous people who happen to be moms, but you'll never know because all anyone is sure they can talk about is Being a Mom. Which is Boring. Not the being, the talking about it.
