It is a neighborhood that is mostly made up of Hispanics and Asians. So there are shops that carry everything from Central America next to a restaurant that has ducks hanging in the window. There wasn't a Starbucks in sight. And there was a neat filipino bakery with all kinds of pretty things. A pan-pacific restaurant and Eritrean food. Plus there is the super posh http://www.culinarycommunion.com/. It was just a bit of everything. I also like the library there.
