May. 22nd, 2002 01:17 amagain I say...one of the best television themes...Hawaii Five-O. My favorite episode is entitled; Trouble in Trick Town. Our Hero Mr. Jack "the hair" Lord was dealing with some mighty nasty pimps on the island.
He triumphed...with the help of Danno and your man and mine, Chin Ho. (masterfully played by Kam Fong)
Also I like to think that the show was very hip and ahead of its time, by casting a large number of asian actors, partly because they were filming in Hawaii. You don't see a lot of asian actors wandering around in movies, unless they own shady korean grocery stores,are the "wacky" exchange student or a general bad-ass ala John Woo's Hard Boiled. (one of the coolest examples of exquisite violence in cinema) Now that we have seen that black folk can win oscars, let's see what we can do about the asians. I am sure they could use a little screen time.

I went to the doctor today, I think it may be time for another round of the macrobiotic diet, "what you can't eat that? what can you eat?" "corregated cardboard and some steamed veggies."
I painted my nails maroon with gold sparkles...I feel like I am 13. I should go and scream around the house yelling that nothing is fair.
