I do think that ibn would appreciate this.
My brother just graduated and he felt like that it was his duty as the former ASB co-president to leave a little mark. He decided to fork the lawn (for those who don't know, forking a lawn involves plastic forks a semi-trimmed lawn and some patience)and a few other things. My mother being a supportive parent bought some for him and his best friend showed up to do a little chalk work. (nothing classier then writing SUCK IT PTHS) My friend Cece and I stopped by, helped with the forking, hid from any passing cars and then some other kids showed up (they are going to be juniors, I think I babysat one of them...) and they took pennies, superglued them to the sidewalk, places signs everywhere. We had inspiration, we found a pair of granny panties in the back of cece's car (don't ask) and wrote a few things on them, put them up the flagpole along with someones home-made flag. the boys then took a picnic table used it to block an entrance and they took the gun-free drug-free zone sign and decorated. Most amusing. I think I liked it when my mom stopped by to survey the work. "good job kids, I'm going to bed" the real hope is to make the police blotter in the local paper. Oh the things to aspire to.
I hope that [livejournal.com profile] ibn will appreciate this.
