I am a live and well. I am just out and about.
I went to bath, saw the roman baths and was completely taken in by its varying history. One can see the roman influence, the saxon influence and everything through out the ages.
I even tried some of the spring water. (not tasty)

I saw some of the film, Vanity Fair being filmed throughout the city, went to a costume musuem, ate dinner in a very very old house, and danced about in the streets.

In Cambridge I found a terrific flea market, snuck into various colleges, I found I had a talent for punting, and had a lot of beer.

Andrew went to Queen's college which was beautiful, and made me think of a maze when wandering through many courtyards and rooms. We wandered across the mathematical bridge, then snuck into Trinity college and I wandered in the courtyard that was used for the film 'Chariots of Fire' (that was so exciting) I have always loved that film, and to be in such a place was lovely.

We went to a great Italian restaurant, became very drunk on the wine and wandered about the city, watching other equally drunk people traipsing about. We watched fireworks, misbehaved, and generally had a fun time.
We also saw an outdoor production of Pride and Prejudice.

Then we drove to Nottingham to visit friends, wandered through sherwood forest and today we are off to york.
