afternoon tea.
Oct. 27th, 2003 04:14 pmTo the stupid lady who was not happy with anything I did for her, "FUCK YOU".
Onto other business...
Last night on sweet sweet pbs, I watched a production of Hound of the Baskervilles.
It isn't my favorite Sherlock Holmes story, but it was a really great production of the story. Plus the actor who played Sherlock Holmes was really really hot. He played that smarmy duke in Moulin Rouge.
Nothing is finer then a man with an accent who can remain cool and calm in the face of danger. So what if he has a slight addiction to drugs. No one is perfect.
I think I shall do the laundry, lie on the sofa and read witty articles out of the New Yorker.

Meet Miss Gennie.
Sure she may have had a day filled with people who lacked tact, manners or even common sense, but she doesn't let it get her down.
After a nice relaxing period of perusing her email, lying on the sofa and reading the New Yorker she felt it was time to be productive.
In a short period of time she did four loads of laundry (all folded and put away) made piroshkis, a loaf of bread, did a brisk 30 minute session of pilates and marinated some pork chops.
Oh yeah, and her hair looks good too.
The question is asked, "How does she do it?"
a healthy dose of pills, a pool boy, and a Jacqueline Susann novel.
heh.
Okay maybe not.
Truly though, nothing relieves stress like doing a lot of laundry and kneading a bunch of dough. It may take a bit of work to make bread, but maybe if more people did that, they wouldn't go out and do rash things like beating eachother up or running for public office.
Now to watch Rick Steves. (god damn his show is such a great fix)
