Well then, I have found another Daphne Du Maurier book to add to my collection. I acquired it for fifty cents. Nothing like a cheap penguin paperback. This ought to keep me entertained along with my PG Wodehouse book.
Tonight will definitely be egg-heavy with quiche and bread pudding. There will also be quite a bit of butter and cheese.
Heart Attack will be sometime after dessert.
Film at eleven.

I realized yesterday at work while perusing the cookbooks that there are so many awful cookbooks out there and some of the worst are the celebrity cookbooks. Someone needs to stop these people.
quickly.

Enough of that though. Time for some pasta.

I am looking around for a new shampoo. Are there any particular products any of you faithful readers swear by? I think I need something that will ex-foliate (Thankfully I don't have dandruff but it is good to keep the skin clean) once in a great while and keep things moisturize.
You know, girly stuff.

I always like to try new things and since I know a number of girls and a fair number of hair-obsessed men I always like to hear what people are keen upon.

There are times when I have to break down and admit what an awful nasty snob I am.
But I think there are a couple of different kinds of snobs.
There are those who act as martyrs and feel like they carry this burden to uphold whatever standards on any particular subject they are keen upon and those who view it as some sort of happy calling.
I like to think I am the latter.
Me and Martha Stewart.
We take grand delight in putting forth our effort into some meaningless subject and don't like to admit that it is hard.
Never be a martyr, people don't like that at parties.

I do my best not to judge people for their actions or opinions but sometimes I think wicked thoughts about certain people.
It makes me a bit uncomfortable when people begin to say things about others and something within me makes me quiet and I don't want to sink to that.
I just prefer to keep it all inside.

I fondly recall a quote from "Cold Comfort Farm"

It's bad to be dewy-eyed around smart people, but you can always secretly despise them.
