Oh yippie

Last night I saw a trailer for a movie with Kevin Kline called, De-Lovely. It is about the life of Cole Porter. It has one of those all-star casts that makes me all squidgy on the inside in a good way. They have a number of of singers in the film singing his freaking songs. It looks all super neat. I hope it doesn't disappoint me because I would cry -alot.
The film covers his "complicated" life with his wife Linda Lee Porter (played by Ashley Judd) and there are freaking musical numbers. I may have a fit of joy.
So...Alanis Morrisette is in the film but I heard her sing and it didn' give me too much of a rash. Isn't that novel?
Also in the film are Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, Natalie Cole, Sheryl Crow, and Robbie Williams.
Okay so who wants to go and see this movie with me?

Hot damn the horse I was keen on "Smarty Jones" won the derby.
undefeated in all of his races, something that hasn't been since since "Seattle Slew" in 1977.
I love that this horse kind of came from nowhere and is kind of small for a typical racehorse.

We also went to the zoo today. Which was nice.
