holy cow

Last night there was an amazing lightning (see Mom...some people can spell it. Private joke people) storm. It was very hot and muggy most of the evening and then late at night the sky began to light up and the thunder appeared and THEN it began to rain oh so hard.
I loved it!
Better then cable.

Off to work. *grumbles*

Oh goody

If horses sweat, gentlemen perspire and ladies glow, then I was glowing so much today I may have to redefine myself as a flashlight.
The upside to the intense heat is the miracle of many customers staying rather civil. The heat tends to bring out the asshole in most sorts.
It was a lucky day.
After a very busy day at work where the air-conditioning seemed non-existent upstairs I treated myself to some riso gelato. It took away all of the tense feelings one collects by the end of the day. *sighs with joy*

Things I see.

Today as I was running errands I saw a rather entertaining sight.
I was walking about ten feet behind a girl wearing one of those trendy flouncy skirts that remind one of the eighties. It was very very short (think cheerleader short) and there was a bit of a breeze that would catch the skirt just so that when she walked you could clearly see some of her backside and panties.
Oh if I were only a man.
What made the sight complete in its entertainment value was the fact that on the block I was walking on had a line of people. Typically during commuter hours at this place there are 8-10 busses that come through and people just lean against the building and there are people waiting the entire block. Every single male from the age of 12 to 85 turned their head and looked as this girl went down the street giving everyone a showing of her underwear choice.

I told Andrew this story and he said, "Excellent". He is a man who knows what he likes. He hopes the trend of girls wearing very short skirts will continue.

Silly boys.

When I noticed this girl the first person I thought of was ekdogg and his favorite song, "I'm a Girl Watcher".
He would have appreciated the brief moment.
