Sunday morning fun.
Jun. 27th, 2004 11:33 amhi.
My name is Gennie and I grew up in a household that enabled movie-watching on the level one enables a junkie.
It would be a Sunday night and nearing bedtime. People having to get up early because of school and work. Then we would notice at like 11:30 at night they were showing some fantastic movie we had seen over a hundred times and we would forget that thing called sleep and find ourselves watching it and discussing it loudly.
So the following is the AFI (American Film Institute) list of the hundred best films. The Meme de jour is to highlight the ones you have seen. I realized I have seen every one of these damn things. I would like to thank my Mother for encouraging us to love the movies. To me there is nothing more lovely then sitting in a dark room in front of a flickering screen.
( I need to get out more often )
