Well well well...
well.

It was so fun to see my brother Tom. He is still tall and super thin and he has what my Mother deemed a "faggy haircut".
God bless Mrs. Chazbot and her talent for never mincing words.
It took a bit to find the family at the airport. There was just a cardboard sign at the check in spot for his airline and all it said was "baggage claim 7". Nothing about the gate his flight was coming in to.
We did find each other and Tom and Mike proceeded to wrestle eachother for the front seat of my Mother's car while we were in the parking lot. So I sneaked into the front seat.
Yes, three minutes together and we all revert to being nine years old.
thank you thank you thank you.

We went back to the apartment and I proceeded to stuff everyone.
I was going to take pictures of what I had made but well...yeah.
It isn't going to happen when you are feeding three guys who claim to be starving.
It was like locusts decimating a crop.
The family and Andrew made their way through salami, two different kinds of cheeses, prosciutto, grapes, strawberries, toast points with warmed herbed goat cheese and lots of lemonade.
I then threw at them the wilted salad, jello salad, tomato tarts.
It sort of slowed them down. They did have to digest for awhile and make snarky remarks to each other and about other people.
I then handed out lemon meringue pie, banana walnut cake, tea biscuits, tea cakes and more lemonade.
Finally they were satisfied and read the comics, told hilarious stories about other people and we of course made fun of eachother. A classic past time for the Gibson family clan.

It was a lot of fun.

After the family left we were lazy and watched the fireworks from the bedroom window.

Now to do dishes and tend the roses.
