(no subject)

Mr. Jenner had a gallant moment last night.
We had gone to bed, lights were off and I heard a noise. Mr. Jenner was probably semi-asleep when I said, "did you hear that?" He mumbled, "wha? no."
"Did you lock the door?"
"yes"
"Well did you close the sliding glass door?"
"um...I dunno"
"I think it needs to be closed."
"well then close it."
"could you close it? There might be a robber or rapist or something in the living room and I would feel better if you did it. You know there is that weird serial rapist who gets in through open windows."
"Yeah but there are two of us."
"yeah...but could you close it please?"
Mr. Jenner quickly goes and closes the door and comes back to bed.
I can handle spiders, strange looking bugs and the like on my own but I think we have found the job for Mr. Jenner to act all manly.
He told me this morning that I put the fear in him when he went to close the door because then he wondered if the robber/rapist was hiding in the kitchen.

Today My Mother (Mrs. Chazbot) my sister lightprincess89 and my brother Michel came to the city. I took them to lunch, we looked at things, they bought soap, 'spensive cured meats and fancy pancy cheeses. Then we went to the Van Gogh exhibit where everyone jived on gorgeous art and then we sat for a bit. Because everyone always gets a case of museum feet.
After they left to go home I went and had some riso gelato and called it a day.
Now I am home.
