hiccup to you too.
Nov. 14th, 2004 12:01 pmBe proud folks. I managed to avoid making a drunken post last night. *takes a bow*
I had a very nice time talking to folks and saying, "thank you" a lot when people would come up and say "congratulations". It was a bit funny seeing one person who is going to have a baby and another person who got married and getting to say congratulations to each other. It is sort of like a mutual admiration society. You are so wonderful. No you are.
Gay men can seriously cater some delicious food. I ate my weight in stuffed mushrooms. I need to get the recipe. I got to pet dogs, drink lots of girlie punch and get a friend properly drunk and admit to dark dirty secrets. (she likes to be spanked it seems)
Also more people had to pleasure of meeting Mr. Jenner.
Today I am going to properly do laundry and think about more moving related things.
I tried the cake I made yesterday and it wasn't bad for a first draft. It is a flour-less chocolate pistachio cake. It doesn't have any icing on it. I think it might work just as is. I would be curious to kind of take a Hispanic route and make it a Mexican chocolate pistachio cake and get into things like cinnamon. This will be a good cake for tea and I may bring some into work tomorrow for people to try out. The cake is a bit dense, fairly rich and quite simple. I am still not quite sure what the measurements are for everything since I kind of made it up as I went a long. I will try and make it again quite soon. Pictures later.
