Just as I was about to leave for work this morning I gave my self one hell of a paper cut. Blood spurted everywhere.
I think that will qualify as my grand tragedy of the day.
The district manager was also here today. Everyone hates her.
Awhile back a co-worker read an article that gave the best analogy for upper-management.
They are like seagulls. The fly in from far away, make a lot of noise and crap all over the place.

I think that summed up her visit.

I have been working here for quite some time and I don't think she has ever learned my name and yet this morning she was walking in and doing her super excited cheerleader attitude with me and said, "HEY HOW ARE YOU?" and I said, "Hello, fine thank you." and passed along my way. She then turned around and stopped me and asked if everything was alright and said, "what is up with you? Is something wrong?" and I looked a bit perplexed and said, "um...I am fine. Why do you ask?" "You didn't say HI BACK."
I said, "I did. I am sorry I suppose you didn't hear me."
She then called me Jean.
*blinks*

Otherwise it was a cheerful day filled with glee and chicken salad sandwiches.

I am exhausted though. I ran around a lot, found many books, directed people places and was generally useful and adored.

I may tell Mr. Jenner that I am not making dinner tonight. I would prefer sleeping. He will enjoy the good news of 'no alarm clocks'.

There are many difficult and heavy questions in life.
Tonight mine is, "Do I really need sequined mules?"
