work work work
Dec. 7th, 2005 08:18 amToday for serious excitement we are going to meet with the lawyer who is handling the green card application stuff and sign nine million pieces of paper saying, "yes we are a real couple, yes we are a real couple, yes for fuck's sake we are a real live fucking genuine couple what more do you want and here are some tax returns and love letters as well for good measure." Fascinating stuff I tell you. Afterward I need to do a bit o' Christmas shopping and then send out a bunch o' Christmas cards. (look at me acting all Oirish and stuff with the o's)
Anyways my back is still a tetch sore but I don't feel like Judy Garland/Oscar Levant wanting to rip open a medicine cabinet looking for painkillers so this is a vast improvement I believe. Today I shall make a pear tart, a couple of cookies and maybe a quiche for dinner. I also need to pick up some rabbit feed for Greg and Esme. Much to do.
I am now slowly teaching Greg to stand on his hind legs but he is still a bit shy about it. Esme on the otherhand is learning to take a few steps. We still haven't quite gotten her to do a complete turn on her hind legs.
I am also working on making a couple of Victorian-inspired ornaments and lord-howdy this is proving to be long and involved. I am doing more cutting and pasting than your average kindergartner but I hope it will turn out alright.
