Another day another slice of cake
Feb. 7th, 2006 09:10 amThis merely continues to prove my theory that the former Axis powers of WWII have some of the weirdest sexual urges.
And that the Japanese are like the French. They have a complex culture and rules all their own that they won't ever really explain to any outsiders.
.....
This brings up some interesting points that I have been reflecting over. You really can't define yourself as being pro-life if you do nothing to help support the lives of the children after they are born. If you make it a law that someone may not have an abortion you damn well better pony up and put your money where your mouth is and support women who are struggling to survive. It is hypocritical and just plain cruel to leave someone high and dry; all while claiming "protect the innocent". Once the innocent are born they need continual protection and assistance. I don't even want to hear certain religious groups say that the women should have faith. Prayer is a wonderful thing but while you are praying, that Mother would like help with the gas bill and making sure her kids can eat. The fact of the matter is when women are provided with proper access to birth control and education they are less likely to need abortions, their health isn't in such jeopardy (because an abortion isn't exactly the healthiest procedure around) and often domestic violence statistics tend to be lower. (A woman is more likely to be killed by the Father of her child during her pregnancy than at any other time.)
