I must admit I grow a little bored with my anorexic customers. I want to shake them and say, "Oh don't even waste my time with this ruse of you actually eating. Just eat your valium and go home and scrub the floor with a toothbrush." What a waste of perfectly good food on such ungrateful bores. But enough of that. I had fun today creating platters for a catering order. I think I want to slowly encourage new ideas for how to arrange things. We have certain looks we are supposed to adhere to but I am not entirely impressed. There is something rather soothing about spending Saturday morning arranging cheese and olives just so. After that excitement I inspected some cous cous, tested a soup and frosted a bunch of cupcakes. All before eleven am. I gave someone a recipe for shepherd's pie, helped a customer plan her dinner party and gave her a good drink recipe and then I ate a bunch of salami, truffle cookies and olives. Not the most well-rounded meal but it worked.
After work I foolishly ventured into a couple of clothing stores in hopes of finding a few shirts. I lucked out and found a hot pink shirt that suits my figure and a black shirt with a 3/4 length sleeve that will be good for work; all for under twenty dollars. Fear my shopping skills. Still have not gone bra shopping but that is a field trip for another day. Besides I am trying to decide if my breasts are trying to change size on me.
What shall we have for dinner tonight? So many possibilities.
But first? bubble bath and further discussions about patio furniture.
