random thinking after ten

I had myself something of a Stephen Fry festival today.
What else are you going to do when your kid wants to nurse all damn day long. That is right.
That and laundry. Tons O' Laundry.

*taps teeth for a moment*

A skirt and a top I ordered came in the mail today. The skirt looks pretty good. Kind of classic but timeless and it looks quite nice. I am attempting to rebuild the old wardrobe. I am getting rid of things, throwing things away and attempting to de-clutter.
Futile in a way because really in the end it is an excuse to acquire more things.

I saw an ad in a magazine today that had a picture of a kitchen and the Kitchen was filled with all of these built in bookshelves and they were filled with all kinds of lovely books (obviously related to cooking) That is the sort of kitchen I need. I am running out of space again when it comes to the books -especially the cookbooks.

I think I may paint the bedroom walls a pale peachy sort of color. It would go well with all of the blue I have going on in there. I thought about painting the walls blue but I wondered if that might be too much. At the moment there are dark blue velvet curtains and the bed clothes are various shades of pale blue. I also have fantasies about have striped walls but I suppose that might be too busy.
Finally I will paint our bathroom this year. Pregnancy last year sort of delayed the original plan.
So the grand project this year will be doing things to the house.
We bought curtains for the living room and we ordered the curtain rods. Time to replace the ugly blinds.
