In the pantry.
May. 3rd, 2007 07:56 pmDinner tonight is a leek and apple tart with boucherondin cheese and I also made an asparagus and gruyere soup. (with bits of grilled chicken) A bit of green, some spices and herbs and a ton o' flavor.
There is also cake for dessert. I think it is time to make strawberry ice cream soon. I should add something else to this strawberry ice cream to make it more interesting. It will come to me. Probably in the middle of the night.
Last night I made chicken pie. Damn the pastry turned out so well. I should be named the pastry queen.
I am feeling a definite creative surge in the ol' kitchen. I am also having my annual Spring craving for Indian food. So it is time to make naan and play with spices.
