May. 7th, 2007 07:36 amSenor Onion is a baby full of spirit and energy. This spirit and energy manifests itself with Senor Onion waking up at 4:30am.
I told Mr. Jenner that his son is going to have to become a baker if he is going to keep this up. I wonder if this is some sort of carefully planned revenge on my Mother's part to pay me back for those early years of mine when I was apt to wake up especially early. I am guessing that when she reads this post she will laugh manically. Thanks Mrs. Chazbot.
Alex is so cheerful too. He doesn't fuss. He just wants to see the sunrise, have breakfast and play with his hippo Frank and maybe drool on me a little bit. (not to mention pulling my lips off because he doesn't have enough hobbies)
It does make it easier to face someone who is so appreciative of your company. I just wish he would appreciate me so much that he would let me sleep in an hour longer.
While I was up this morning I unloaded the dishwasher, put another load on, sorted through some laundry, listened to Radio 4 (who I should write a note of thanks for being there with me during the middle of the night) and fed the rabbits.
Senor Onion has taken to becoming upset and fussy at breakfast unless he can hold the marmite jar. The contrasting colors soothe him.
I am harboring these fantasies of going on a bender at Sephora and then Elliot Bay Books. I would then end the bender with drinking chocolate at Sweet and Savory. Money may not buy happiness but it buys books and pretty things which make me pretty darn giddy.
Alright I have laundry to put on and skin to moisturize.
