Jun. 26th, 2007 04:50 pmI am making chicken croquettes for dinner. I have never made them before but the idea of making them seemed like a good idea.
The pasties turned out incredibly well. Mr. Jenner found them to be delicious and he likes them better than anything he has had back home.
Hear that England? I can out-cook your sweet asses. Wanna fight???
I was making food for Senor Onion today. I made a concoction was the disgusting to look at but tasted pretty good. (I am not going to make my kid eat anything that I don't like the taste of) I pureed some carrots and peas and then added a little bit of banana. It ended up tasting a lot like persimmon. I had him taste it after I tested to make sure it didn't taste like death. He is a keen fan and deemed it awesome. He thought the oatmeal was a bit meh until I added some fruit to it. Though it is difficult to say if he is super fond of what I feed him. This is the same person who will chew on a remote control or a mouse and look happy. "Mmmmm plastic"
It isn't always food at Chez Anglo-America. I also read books and think about how I need to moisturize my skin. I also watch movies. Tonight I am introducing Mr. Jenner to the movie Seven Year Itch. Last week it was Night at the Opera Thank goodness he thought that was funny. Otherwise it would have been awkward to marry someone, have their child and find out that they had absolutely no taste. I wouldn't have divorced him but there would have been a long discussion.
