Sep. 5th, 2007 11:14 amFor Better or For Worse needs to be killed with a hatchet, set alight and then buried in the backyard. That is all I can say at the moment regarding a once good comic strip that jumped the shark so hard that it might have crossed an ocean in the process.
But in other comic strip news, Sally Forth has over the years become incredibly funny and doubled the sarcasm. It is like... it somehow inherited/stole some of the humor from FBOFW.
Just read today's strip. The art isn't the most amazing stuff but the writing is great. I love Sally's emotionally exhausting Mother. Her quips are hilarious. They just referenced Grey Gardens. I also love the semi-subtle theme that Sally and Ted Forth go at it like rabbits.
Alright enough inane madness for the morning.
I am making chicken matza ball soup for dinner. The lemon cake I made is a bit so-so. It is a Delia Smith recipe and last time it was meh as well but I gave it another chance. I will have to remember that this recipe is lousy. At least the filling is good.
