Hiding from the pumpkin.

shoes!

I bought these shoes a couple of months ago. Great brand, good shoe -especially if you have wide feet. But they had a defect and the straps fell apart within a few wearings.
Zappos being an awesome site said, "hey we are sorry. Exchange them for the same shoe or another item."
I was going to exchange them for the same shoe but they don't have them in my size anymore.

Irritations galore.

So here we are back to square one of finding a pair of nice shoes that are well-made, fit my long/wide feet and are faintly dressy but good for the winter.

If I go for another pair of Softspot shoes, I am inclined to buy these or these.

I also tempted by these shoes.

But you know what I really want? (even though they aren't sensible for the winter?) these.
