Let's get deep.
Jan. 27th, 2008 09:32 amI am feeling crazy and I am going to IKEA today.
I also trimmed my hair this morning. (getting rid of split-ends and what not) I am a lazy person when it comes to my hair. I don't color/high-light it. I rarely use conditioner and I often forget to brush it. Every so often I trim it and call it good. I think about getting it cut or something on occasion. But I want to avoid the well-discussed Mom hair and everyone usually says, "get some layers" which I realized is the like saying, "just add a belt" to a pair of jeans. Plus growing out layers is always a bother and there is that stage when a person looks like they had an incident where someone randomly clipped at their hair and they don't want to admit that they had a lot to drink that night and things were fuzzy.
I had layers once upon a time. I have to think about this.
Or I will just continue on with my laziness. Because I am good at it. I will worry about coloring/high-lighting my hair when I go grey. And then I will become a red-head or something. There is a long history of women in my family keeping up a serious color long after it would be possible to be a blonde or redhead. My Grandma was a blonde to her dying day.
So yes.
IKEA and then home to roast something.
Last night I roasted a pork loin with caramelized winter vegetables. It was freaking excellent. I also made a cheese cake for today. I suspect that will also be excellent.
