exhaustion
Apr. 9th, 2008 01:26 pmWe have hot water again. We are living like it is the twentieth century. We also had our furnace checked out and they did a few other things to some pipes to bring them up to code. I like these plumbers and the furnance guy. They came in a timely manner, got stuff done and were darn nice too.
Dishes are being washed. I plan on doing some laundry and then one Senor Onion will get a bath.
I finished reading Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. I can think of a number of people who ought to read this book.
meowlet in particular comes to mind. You must read this. I am assigning it to you.
As for dinner I am making this casserole. I will probably make a little pasta too. I made the marinara sauce this morning and it has been slowly cooking for several hours. It makes the kitchen smell lovely.
My son has decided to only nap for an hour today. Not good kid. Not good. He is going to be so crabby by tea time that I might have to sell him... or start cocktail hour a little early.
