what kind of nonsense is this?

My Mother is visiting. Yay.
It has been a nice time. We were out in the garden and we were looking at the wild blackberry brambles when my Mom noticed it. Deadly Nightshade. I had no idea what the purple flowers were.
So now we have to sort out getting rid of the stuff. This shit is deadly. (funny how it matches the name) A couple of the berries consumed by a small child is lethal.
I emailed the noxious weeds folks at King County and I think I may pay a professional to remove this shit. I don't trust myself to do a good enough job. I am willing to sacrifice a harvest of blackberries to keep things safe.
Gah... Great bindweed and now this.
If I could I would just burn down all of those brambles.
Now excuse me. I need to eat more chocolate.
