let's get some sequins and play!
Nov. 18th, 2008 09:11 pmWhile LJ was down this morning I took care of grocery shopping. I also spent time working on the Christmas stocking I am making for Senor Onion. I ended up un-doing some details on it. I also decided not to get all perfectionist-like with myself and re-do other aspects because they weren't totally and utterly straight. (I have a habit of doing that) It will definitely look home-made, but hopefully it won't look like it was made by Helen Keller. It is a slow process. I may go out and get more felt. I have to design a snowman next.... well to be clear I have to design the template for this snowman. Then there is more sewing. I have to pour all of my energy into some craft project each Christmas. It gives me purpose to wrestle with tiny buttons, scissors and possibly paper. I have a long-term project I am working on that I suspect will take a year or two to complete. It is still in planning stages and involves a blue print. I don't have a problem. I can stop anytime I feel like it.
