let's take a walk

I live in a classy neighborhood it seems. A few blocks over in the retail area (on Madison) there was a business called the Lavender Beauty Salon and Spa. It was in a converted house and when we first moved into the neighborhood it had been a toy shop. Well apparently the place was busted for being (and I use the slog's words here) a hand-job emporium. YES! I know! Apparently (according to some escort review sites found by the police) you could get the cheapest ones in town. Only ten bucks! I was walking past there today when I was on my way to the garden nursery. Yeah all the signs have been removed, there was a U-haul truck loading things and there were some sketchy dudes standing out front on their cell phones.
Just think right near some very respected businesses, you could get discount "help".
And now you know a little more about where I live. Isn't knowledge fantastic?

When I am not passing by illegal brothels I am also buying Christmas cards. (they have a nice selection of things at the nursery) What was really nice was passing by their Christmas trees. The smell was almost over-powering. It is fun to just walk through all of the trees and take in the scent. We also got to see the shop cat that has six toes on each paw. Her name is Irene and she is old and unimpressed with everyone. Probably the most sardonic looking cat I have ever seen. Everyone stops by and gives her a pat on the head and she just looks like she wants to say, "whatevs."
