A strange dream where there was a long and winding road trip. It seemed familiar but not. I kept wanting to stop at tiny little cafes for corndogs or chocolate banana milkshakes. But there was this obsessive search for these green-ish cookies with marshmallows in them. What was that about? In my head they exist? I kept trying to find the one place that had them. All the other cookies weren't quite right. But when I was in the right shop they tasted great. I have no idea why.
The cookies were strewn with little marshmallows. Some with chocolate.
My dreams are getting too weird for me.

Another house for sale in my greater neighborhood. This is kind of the opposite of the other house I mentioned. Tres modern and stuff. Though the inside looks a bit like an IKEA show-room. (though with some more expensive furniture) I am always fascinated by the staging that goes into stuff like this. It is that careful mix of not imprinting too much definite personality (white walls/bare surfaces) but there are some specific objects that are placed to appeal to a certain kind of buyer. "Hey look at that. We know you want to project a certain lifestyle. How about that chair there. You are hip enough to appreciate that chair." S"ee that little accent of orange -that is because you are a hip person with a whimsical side too."
What is interesting to me is when books are shown in pictures of the house. They are carefully stacked in different ways to create space. But not to look filled or cramped. (like the rest of our homes)
Anyways, I like how there is a lot of light to the place. (even if it looks as if an entire forest of blonde wood had to die for its sins) Plus hey it is a "green" house so you can feel smug as you stand and take stock of your view while drinking your free-trade coffee and contemplating whether to wear an organic cotton or organic hemp shirt that day. Oh the first world problems that plague us. But let's not think of such problems. Let's go to the farmer's market and "discover" kohlrabi.
