scattered stuff

I baked a banana cake and some cranberry apple crisp. We had run out of baked goods this weekend. (happens when family comes to visit) My Mother came over yesterday. She, my sister and I (along with Senor Onion) went to look at yarn and things. Then we went to Molly Moon's for ice cream. It was kind of a hodge-podge not much done but still fun sort of Sunday.
With my Mother's guidance/help I was finally able to finish the hat I began knitting in November/December. I had nearly finished it then, but then I went to England and well after everything that happened (found out I was pregnant/flooded basement/vicious morning sickness/house being repaired/brain being gone) I finally got back to it. Voila. It is pink and cute. It is terribly simple but I had never made a hat before. I am pleased. (I shall have to try and take a picture of it soon)
What shall I knit next? I need to do something fairly simple as I am barely able to write my own name as of late.

I made a rather nice pollo limone. I added artichoke hearts to it and I think it gave it more depth/flavor.
