I am sick as a dog. My face keeps leaking. It is most uncivilized. Because of the state I am in, we ordered Chinese food last night for Easter Dinner. Which was nice.
Senor Onion enjoyed his little chocolate bunnies and loves his new jig-saw puzzle. 2 years old and already mastering 35 piece puzzles! His idea of a good time is standing around shirtless like Yul Brynner (only more hair) and humming whilst conquering jig-saw puzzles.

You know what is vaguely alarming or at least makes me feel undignified? Sneezing and having tears shoot out of my eyes. I sneeze and my entire face leaks all over. And stuff.

I think today I will hide and watch movies. And go through hankies like they are going out of style.

While sitting on the sofa tonight and watching a bit of television, there was an ad where they played a Tom Jones song. Baby Biscuit began to kick up a storm.
Obviously she is very much my daughter.
Forget playing Stravinsky and Bach, she already knows what she likes.

Senor Onion didn't nap today, yet he did his best to be adorable until about 4:30 when he fell apart like a Starlet after a bender. It wasn't pretty. I suspect Easter chocolate might be to blame. Worse than speed really. The way a kid comes down, you expect them to sell the television or the lap top to get another fix. "come on... what do you want for this TV, Cadbury is HALF OFF at the drug store. Help me out.."

I was rereading New Moon With the Old by Dodie Smith, a delightful book that is sadly out of print. I always liked Clare for having the casual ambition of wanting to be a King's mistress. You don't really get a lot of girls going for that line of work anymore. I suppose because it doesn't lead to things like having your own line of perfume or unattractive handbags -which you might get as an athlete/actor's whatever. Maybe girls have lost the interest in, "all of the fun and none of the glory." Though Mrs. Keppel and her great-granddaughter did pretty well for themselves. Maybe not everyone has the stomach for infamy.
