I hope this won't end up like the Red Balloon

Note to self: Should I ever decide, "hey let's have a third kid", try to time conception so that I am not ungodly pregnant in the Summer.
It is uncomfortably warm and so I am uncomfortably...uncomfortable. I may move into my son's wading pool with a beverage and call it good.

We went out to dinner tonight because I was not going to turn on the stove. Also I wanted to eat somewhere with A/C. So we went out and had a nice little dinner. The server (who made me think of Jake Ryan from Sixteen Candles) gave Senor Onion an orange balloon. Senor Onion thought that Jake Ryan was so awesome for giving him this amazing orange balloon. We managed to convince shortcakes to eat some of his dinner. He was just so pleased to have this balloon. Played with it before going to bed and even insisted that it go to bed with him. I am not sure how he is going to deal with the helium in the balloon losing its floatiness. Apparently when Mr. Jenner went to check on him earlier, Senor Onion was holding onto the strap with the balloon floating near his head.
