a moment with the family.
Feb. 17th, 2010 10:49 amThe other day we were going for a walk and Senor Onion spotted this little roadster convertible in someone's drive. He remarked, "the top's been lost." It took me a moment to figure out what he meant. It made me giggle a bit. This idea of someone just casually losing the roof of their car. I explained that some cars have tops that can go up and down. But I think I like the idea of a car losing its top. He then remarked that the windows had been lost too.
Miss Biscuit seems to have inherited my long reach. (seriously I have gorilla arms) She may not be able to crawl but she will propel herself and reach out for anything of interest. Her brother's things are vastly fascinating. Poor Senor Onion is learning all about this aspect of having a sibling. He gets frustrated at times. He tries to reason with her. "No Baby sister. These are my things. I am playing." Oh sure she has many lovely toys (which do amuse her for the most part) but whatever else is out there is much more fun. You know... someone else's dinner, a box, knives... We will not rest easy with this one.
