I don't need my eyes checked.

I was looking over the calendar for my son's preschool. It listed the various holidays and I saw one that said, "Mermaid Day" and I thought, "OMG what is that? That sounds awesome." I looked closer.
It said Memorial Day.
I don't know if I want to admit to myself how disappointed I was that there isn't a Mermaid Day.
