I will do things.

I did things today. I washed/folded/put away four loads of laundry. Of course more needs to be done but let's bask in the accomplishment of some laundry being done. I iced a Christmas cake I made for a party!


I baked six dozen cookies. Mind you I had made the dough in the past week and merely pulled it out of the fridge and shaped things appropriately. I then glazed some of the cookies. Then I made a nice bolognese which cooked all afternoon. I also ordered assorted Christmas presents and made an exact list of who is getting what and what has arrived, what has been ordered and so on. I also did some more decorating for Christmas. By GOSH Friday was my day. Thanks Friday for letting me kind of awesome. It was a boon to my self esteem.
I still need to make something else for this party I am going to but that will be easy stuff.

Now let's nosh on that chocolate bar that has my name on it.
